Telling Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty for making objectionable comments on National TV, Valmiki society filed a case against both of these actors. In the matter, the National Commission for Schedule Tribe issued notice and sought response from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry and police commissioners of Delhi-Mumbai. Valmiki society says that the use of the word incorrectly in public has hurt the feelings of our society. Angry by this, the Valmiki society demanded strict action after registering the case.
Shilpa asks for forgiveness on social media
On the issue of using the word cast, Shilpa Shetty apologized on Twitter on December 23. An FIR was lodged against Shilpa and Salman Khan on Saturday. Shilpa tweeted - The words of my old interview were presented incorrectly. Those words were not spoken with the motive of offending someone's feelings.
Actually, during the promotion of Salman Khan's own film 'Tiger Jinda Hai', his dance style was allegedly termed as casteist. This old video of the actor is becoming increasingly viral on social media these days. Because of which he got stuck in trouble.
