
During the former Prime Minister Lal
Bahadur Shastri Memorial Lecture on Thursday, former Chief Justice JS Khehar
put his views on all issues like religion, secularism, notebook and corruption,
whose country is facing the country.
Justice Khehar said that after independence, India had taken
the path of being 'completely secular'. Both Hindus and Muslims were victims of
tremendous violence during the partition. After independence, where Pakistan
became an Islamic nation, India chose to be secular (secular).
In Lal Bahadur Shastri lecture, he said,
"When India was free, the biggest violence took place. It was such cruelty
that the generations can not forget. But something amazing happened in India.
When Pakistan became an Islamic nation, India decided to become secular.
He said, "Indian leaders had ensured that there should
be" complete secularism "in the country. The former Chief Justice
said, 'We have forgotten him. We are going on the path of tit for like again.
